ABOUT FITFARM

Fit Farm Strathroy is more than a gym — it’s a place where hard work, community, and real results come together. Rooted in the belief that fitness should be challenging, welcoming, and sustainable, Fit Farm exists to help people of all ages and abilities build strength, confidence, and resilience both inside and outside the gym.

We offer coach-led group training that blends strength, conditioning, and functional movement in a supportive, high-energy environment. Every workout is thoughtfully programmed, scalable, and purpose-driven, ensuring beginners feel comfortable starting out while experienced athletes continue to be challenged. Our coaches are passionate, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in helping members move better, feel stronger, and stay consistent for the long haul.

At Fit Farm, community is everything. You’ll find a space where effort is celebrated, progress is encouraged, and no one trains alone. Whether you’re chasing performance goals, improving your health, or simply looking for a place that makes fitness enjoyable again, you’ll be met with encouragement, accountability, and a lot of high-fives.

Located in the heart of Strathroy, Fit Farm proudly serves as a hub for individuals and families who value hard work, integrity, and growth. We believe fitness is not a quick fix — it’s a lifestyle built one workout at a time.

Come for the training. Stay for the people.

ABOUT BETHANY

Bethany McChesney is the owner and head trainer at FitFarm. Beth was born and raised in Strathroy, although she has studied and worked in London, Windsor, and even Dubai, she now lives in her hometown with her partner Jeff, and their two children.

Bethany grew up with a passion for sports and fitness, playing every sport her parents would allow her, including gymnastics, soccer, hockey, volleyball, field hockey, and diving. After starting track and field in high school, she then made it her primary sport and continued on to compete in both track and cross country while attending The University of Western Ontario studying Kinesiology, being the captain of both teams from 2005-2007. Bethany has competed at Provincial and National Championships and represented Canada in the 2006 World University Games in Cross Country. After having her children, she then found her love for rock climbing and Obstacle Course Racing and made the Canadian Spartan Pro team in 2019. She now competes primarily in hybrid racing, and is the two-time Deka fit relay world champion.

After completing her degree and becoming an elementary teacher, Bethany then found her love for coaching and training athletes. What started as a passion and a side job of training individuals in running, to her successful Stroller Bootcamp, training clients from her in-home studio, today, Bethany is now a full-time personal trainer and opened the doors to Fitfarm in 2019.

Little Loop 2026

A huge thank you to all of the racers who came out and braved the weather, pushing through six hours on the course with incredible determination. What stood out even more than the miles covered was the energy—your positivity, encouragement, and constant cheering for one another created something truly special. That spirit is what makes this race so much more than just an event.

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to Willow Tree Golf Course for allowing us the use of their beautifully rustic course and for their outstanding hospitality throughout the race. We do want to apologize for the timing system not working as smoothly as we had hoped, but we’ve taken the time to compile accurate results for everyone.

Looking ahead, we’re already exploring a chip timing system for next year to make the experience even better. We’re also getting all the race photos ready to share very soon, so keep an eye out! And finally, we’ll be announcing next year’s date as soon as possible, along with an early bird registration special—so stay tuned!
